Loft apartment at The Crest up for auction at $2.65 mil

The 23rd of April will see a three bedroom loft apartment at The Crest in Bukit Meray, District 3 in the prime district. Knight Frank Singapore which is handling this auction, says that the property measures 1,324 square feet and has a revised guide of $2.65million ($2,002psf).

This is the third auction that the unit has been placed up for. First, in January, the asking price was $2.8 million (2.115 psf). The property was auctioned again in March at a cost of $2.65mio ($2,002psf). But neither auction brought in any buyers.

The loft-style unit is located on the 8th floor and features a living/dining area with balcony, kitchen, master bedroom en suite, and two additional bedrooms. The property was listed for sale for the third time based on the caveats. The first sale was in 2018 for $2.43m ($1,832psf).

Tricia Tan of Knight Frank Singapore, director of auctions, said that the unit enjoys unblocked views, and has plenty of natural daylight through its floor to ceiling windows.

She says: “The development is perfect for both homeowners and investors, especially for families with kids who will benefit from the open spaces within the development.”

The Crest was completed in 2017. It is a 99 year leasehold condo with 469 units, spread over three 23 storey towers and five low-rise 5-storey blocks. Residents have access to a wide range of amenities such as a clubhouse and sky gym. There are also swimming pools, jogging paths, tennis courts, gardens, Jacuzzis, fitness areas and barbecue pits.

Redhill MRT Station, on the East-West Line, is just six minutes away. Redhill Lane and the Alexandra Linear Park Connector are both within walking distance. The Crescent Girls’ School, Tanglin Road, is 500m from the development.
